Immunizations

Hachioji Medical Association totally supports the immunization program.

Regular family doctors who are familiar with your child's health are now able to provide free immunizations for polio, DPT, measles, rubella and encephalitis as long as the child is in targeted age group. However, the tuberculin test and BCG are given in mass inoculation programs at the civic center, etc. If a child is registered with the city office, the city office will mail a notice and a pre-examination form to the child during the month when the child reaches the specified age for immunization. School children will receive notices from the school. Those who moved to the city recently, those who go to schools outside of the city, and those whose age is outside of the targeted age group should directly contact their regular family doctors.

After reviewing carefully the list of cooperating medical institutions for pregnancy examinations, regular baby checkups, and immunizations, please consult with you regular family doctor in your area.

Let's protect our children's health through cooperation between mothers and physicians.

These are the medical institutions in Hachioji providing immunization services.
